Cooku with Comali:
Cooku with Comali or CWC is an Indian Tamil language comedy-based cookery show broadcast on Star Vijay and Disney + Hotstar, in which contestants pair up each week with amateur cooks(comalis). CWC contestants are mostly celebrities. Each week, the contestants(also called cooks) with their comalis are challenged and judged by Judges Chef Damodharan and Chef Venkatesh Bhat. Cooku with Comali show is directed by Parthiban and produced by Media Masons. The second season of CWC is one of the best-rated Tamil reality shows on both TV and digital platform Disney+Hotstar. The show has a huge fan base and is considered a stress buster.
In Simple words, To impress the judges, different Contestants from the entertainment industry work with their comedians to prepare delicious food.
Show Format:
Every week, the show starts with pairing. Each cook gets to pair up with comalis. Then, Each team competes with another in Advantages Task to get some advantages in Main Cooking.
Advantage Task involves a small task in which a team performs some innovative task and the winner is given some advantages during the main task. Each team will face a given some challenges during the main task, which will make cooking more difficult. But, Advantage task winner gets some advantages to skip these challenges for some time. A specific time limit is given to teams, and they have to cook within that time limit. Comalis has to do most of the cooking.
For Example, Immunity week advantage tasks from season 1 include Half Boil Making, Onion Slicing, Find the Ingredients, Samosa Making, Dosa Making, Panipuri Eating, Murukku Making, Taking Coconut Slices, Separating Yellow York from Eggs, Medhu Vadai Making, Squeezing Citrus Fruit, Appam Making, Dissecting Jackfruit, Chapathi Making using the Iron box, Find Ingredients of the Dish.

Immunity week winner will not be eliminated and will not take part in the following week’s elimination competition.
