Since there are many mysterious places in the world but only a few places are so popular that even ordinary people know them. If there is one mysterious place that is known to the masses all over the world, it is the Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle’s popularity is largely due to the myths surrounding it, rather than the mysteries surrounding it.
The Bermuda Triangle is the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. This mysterious sea area is located between Bermuda, Florida, and Puerto Rico. The place is famous for ships, planes, and mysterious casualties lost at sea. The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is attributed to aliens, the Atlantis, the sea kingdom.
Where is the Bermuda Triangle?
It is a part of the Atlantic, located between Bermuda, Florida, and Puerto Rico. It should be noted that the area, whose boundaries are not universally accepted, has an obscure triangular shape.
What does science say is the reason for the mystery?
Although the stories told around the Bermuda Triangle about aliens, Atlantis, and the international conspiracy are bizarre, no evidence has yet been found to disprove them. But according to science some reasons for this have been found. Evidence for this is not yet available. Scientific reasons include oceanic gas (methane gas emitted from ocean sediments), rough waves, and disturbances in geomagnetic lines.
The size of the Bermuda Triangle
The Bermuda Triangle is not small. In fact, it is very large and covers an area of 440,000 miles. It is larger than the integrated part of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The effect of the Bermuda Triangle can be experienced outside the triangle as well.
How many people may have died?
Whenever a plane or ship disappears in a triangle, its debris cannot be found. It is estimated that at least 1000 lives have been lost in the last 100 years. On average, 4 planes and 20 boats go missing each year.
The Secret Service Center is located inside the Bermuda Triangle, on the island of Andros in the Bahamas. Here the US Navy tests their submarines, sonar, and other weapons. However, it is said that this is not just a testing center.
Christopher Columbus
The first person to report on the Bermuda Triangle was Christopher Columbus. Inside the triangle, he wrote in his papers that the ship’s compass had stopped working and that he had seen a fireball in the sky.
The loss of American Military
One of the largest and most notorious casualties of the U.S. military occurred in 1945. Five U.S. Navy Avenger torpedo bomb experts sailed from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Bimini Island. There were 14 people on duty then. After 90 minutes, the radio operators received a signal that the compass was not working. Communication was subsequently severed. The bombs they were carrying could not be found. All three planes that went to rescue them have also disappeared.
Time Travel
People reported that they have experienced electronic fog in the Bermuda Triangle, which can also be believed as time travel. Pilot Bruce Jernan says that he flew through a time-consuming cloud tunnel that lost it 28 minutes later. The plane he was directing disappeared from radar and reappeared off the coast of Miami.
